Taste of Chicago Kicks Off With Asian Carp Burgers
7/11/2012
The Taste of Chicago kicked off with an appearance by “Boss” star Kelsey Grammar and free Asian carp sliders.
FM News reporter Ryan Burrow pulled Grammar aside to grill him about his favorite local hang outs.
He also lined up to try a mini-Asian carp burger from Dirk’s Fish Shop. Watch him take the first bite HERE. You can munch on one too for free until supplies run out. The Shedd Aquarium’s Roger German says don’t knock it, till you try it:

Changes abound at this year’s fest from a later start date and a shorter run at five days. Only 36 restaurants are offering their tasty dishes, down from 59 last year. Michael Franti, Death Cab for Cutie and Dierks Bentley will perform at the Petrillo Music Shell, but you’ll have to front $25 for tickets to them up close. Lawn seats remain free.
